Bookkeeper | Office Manager

Tittle Law Group, PLLC is a growing business bankruptcy law firm specializing in debtor representation. We are seeking a self-motivated Bookkeeper | Office Manager to oversee daily operations in the office and assist with preparation of client deliverables and communications. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, demonstrates professionalism and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Support office operations by implementing office procedures, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing and organizing records, and managing schedules/workflow to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and enhance overall productivity.
- Answer phones, order and maintain supplies
- Collect, log in and scan client documents
- Assist with assembly of monthly operating reports
- Assist with assembly of debtors' schedules and statement of financial affairs
- Prepare internal reports, engagement letters, proposals
- Assist staff by performing various administrative functions
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- End of Month and Year End close routine
- Process Payroll in QuickBooks and other software.
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
- Preparation of sales and use tax returns
- Proficient use of QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online
- All other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time by Company management
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial records
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper or similar role, with a strong understanding of law office procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective report writing and team collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have Associates.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably working in a law firm.
- Strong bookkeeping skills and ability to manage finances
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Problem solver
- Strong PC and Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Client service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work occasional overtime and weekends during tax season
