Job Description:

Customer's Upstream Unconventional Field SCADA teams deliver industry-leading business capabilities and computational sciences to our field production assets through proprietary, commercial-grade software. They are looking for passionate, self-starting team members who will challenge the status quo and always be willing to learn and contribute in new ways. This position requires active collaboration with field engineers, headquarters engineers, developers, and other stake holders to deliver software and hardware solutions in the Unconventional assets. In this role, you will participate in all aspects of SCADA Engineering, including work planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.

Primary Job Functions:

•Collaborate with engineers, operators, data managers, and other software developers to define, build, and deliver solutions to our most challenging upstream unconventional business problems

•Architect, implement, deploy, and support SCADA systems like Wonderware and Ignition

•Reverse engineer existing Wonderware Systems to build new UDTs and tags in new Ignition system

•Screen Development and Visualization


Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university in Industrial Engineering or related field of study

•Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with software developers and domain experts

•Minimum of 4 years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting SCADA systems

•Proficiency in both of the following SCADA platforms; Wonderware, Ignition

•Proficiency in one or more of the following protocols: Ethernet/IP, MODBUS, MQTT, TCP/IP, JDBC, OPC -UA

•Proficiency in Microsoft SQL


Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

•Experience building, deploying, and supporting Ignition screens using Python (both Vision and Perspective Modules)

•Proficiency in Autosol ACM

•Prior work experience in the upstream oil and gas industry as a SCADA systems integrator

•Prior work experience with large scale data management systems

•Experience working on teams following Agile software development methodologies

•Experience participating in the user centered design process


Minimum of 4 years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting SCADA systems

Proficiency in both of the following SCADA platforms; Wonderware, Ignition

Reverse engineer existing Wonderware Systems to build new UDTs and tags in new Ignition system
