Position Summary:

The Sales & Analytics Coordinator role is designed for a highly organized individual with heavy emphasis

in Data Analytics or Business Analysis, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to our overall

organization with specific emphasis in sales analytics, trends and economic impact that includes Leisure

Group Sales, Sports Sales, Meeting & Convention Sales, and community engagement initiatives. This

position is key for someone who is eager to apply their analytical skills, embrace challenges, grow within

the organization, and actively participate in community engagement to enhance our outreach and impact.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to inform business decisions.
  • Solicit information through built relationships and consistent communication with

community stakeholders.

  • Generate actionable insights and strategies from data interpretation.

2. Report Generation and Visualization:

  • Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively both internally and

externally using software and in‐house design team.

3. Economic Impact Analysis Management:

  • Manage Economic Impact Calculator software for essential data analysis, articulating ROI

for tourism economic development and infrastructure strategy.

4. Community Engagement and Data Collaboration:

  • Engage and collaborate with community stakeholders on economic impact data collection

and analysis on a monthly, quarterly basis and annual.

5. Continuous Learning and Development:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
  • Participate in professional development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

6. Problem Solving and Decision Making:

  • Tackle complex business challenges with critical thinking and analytical reasoning.
  • Offer data‐driven recommendations to aid decision‐making processes.

7. Team Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work with diverse team members to achieve common goals.
  • Clearly communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

8. Adaptive Support and Coordination:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Sales team and

organization as needed, including managing communications, scheduling meetings, and

coordinating site inspections and familiarization trips, depending on seasonal operational

demands.

9. Proactive Organizational Support:

  • Anticipate and proactively address organizational and departmental needs, ready to take

on additional responsibilities, including availability for occasional evening and weekend

events.

General Duties:

  • Functions in accordance with BLACC/CVB Operational Guidelines and within his/her professional

code of ethics.

  • Maintains a professional, courteous manner while conducting business inside and outside of the

organization.

  • Participates in and contributes to the various staff development activities of the BLACC/CVB.
  • Is sensitive to and responsive to management needs.
  • Participates in all required meetings.
  • Regularly participate in evaluation of self, regarding job performance.
