Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the fintech – commerce world. Company has doubled in size in just the past 12 months, partners with world class companies including Apple, American Express, NCR, Barclays, Google, Microsoft and more.


As a Project Manager in a Technology role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools including MS Project, Jira, to help deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new technology integrations, and implementations.


Dynamic culture, employee centric attitude. Remote position 2-3 days a week in their Center City offices.


What you will be doing:


· Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.

· Manages project initiation activities including assessing needs and goals.

· Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules and deliverables.

· Interacts with product, engineering and business teams, and/or other cross-functional teams.

· Identifies needed resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles.

· Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.

· Manages project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.

· Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions.


GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Bachelor Degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field

· Project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines

· Knowledge of Agile Tools (Jira, DevOps) and Methodologies

· Relevant Certifications – PMP, Scrum Master, Etc.

· Knowledge of financial services industry

· Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects, e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools. MS Project Experience HIGHLY preferred

· Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets and timelines

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to interact effectively with executive level clients

· Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members
