e&e is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an On-Site Long Term contract opportunity in Philadelphia, PA

  • Overall Responsibility: The IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception through go-live. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating the project budget and schedule, reviewing and approving all project costs, and ensuring that the business/ operational key performance indicators (KPI) are met by the project

Requirements:

? Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Management, or related fields.

? A minimum of 7 years of prior experience as a Project Manager in IT.

? Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and with competing priorities.

? Experience in RFP process, creating budgets and schedules, reviewing invoices, compiling cost

estimates, negotiating costs, processing change orders, and project closeouts.

? Experience with JIRA (desired, but not required).

? Required to be on-site.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the stakeholder leadership team to define business requirements and identify the key performance indicators.
  • Gain clear understanding of existing business/ operational processes to detect bottlenecks and opportunities for improvements.
  • Aid the team in identifying and implementing the best solution that suits the business needs while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Create an implementation roadmap which includes budget, key milestones, and resources required to accomplish specific tasks.
  • Work closely with Procurement and Legal teams during the bidding process. Collaborate with Procurement and compile necessary documentation for Board approvals.
  • Create and manage the project schedule. Set expectations for the implementation team and ensure that timelines for deliverables adhere to the key milestone schedule.
  • ensure compliance to the budget.
  • Manage external contractors, consultants, and vendors. Serve as a liaison for the stakeholders and the project implementation team.
  • Influence stakeholders to garner support for the changes that are warranted as part of the project.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Understand business/ customer needs and employ methods to reduce/ eliminate the projects impact on ongoing operations.
