Addison Group's client is actively searching for a new Sr. Manager of Training Programs to join the team Our client is a mid-size healthcare non-profit based in the Erie, PA area. This is a permanent role with a salary up to $60,000 based upon experience. The ideal candidate comes with at least 4+ years of corporate training experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training new hires, implementing training activities, evaluating performance, and increasing employee retention. Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Achieves department goals by effectively leading and developing staff.
  • Recruits, trains, assesses, and coaches employees for continuous growth.
  • Sets and monitors team and individual goals using business, financial, and operations data.
  • Plans resources and budgets, manages variances, and initiates corrective actions.
  • Prepares and shares progress reports, ensuring staff have the tools and support they need.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with senior management and other departments.
  • Stays updated on industry practices through professional development opportunities.

Employee Training and Education

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and certification training requirements.
  • Designs and delivers engaging training programs aligned with performance metrics.
  • Partners with stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement job-specific training.
  • Evaluates training effectiveness and updates content for continuous improvement.
  • Develops innovative learning materials, activities, and lesson plans.
  • Maintains and updates SOPs to ensure training quality and compliance.
  • Manages vendor relationships and internal certification programs to meet organizational needs.
  • Incorporates best practices to enhance employee skills, compliance, and engagement.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years' of corporate training experience
  • Certified Professional in Talent Development (ATD-CPTD) and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development or business or related field or equivalent work experience is required. Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
