Description:

As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be the bridge between product and marketing ensuring that Leadpages’ value is clearly communicated to our target audience. You’ll lead go-to-market strategies, craft compelling messaging, and collaborate across teams to drive adoption, engagement, and customer success. This role is pivotal in translating our product’s features into meaningful customer benefits that resonate with SMBs & marketing leaders. If you’re a creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and a deep understanding of product marketing, we’d love to have you on our team


*We are ideally looking for someone located in Minneapolis, MN as our teams work & collaborate in office a few days a week but are open to candidates in the US and Canada 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and product launches.
  • Create clear, compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates Leadpages in the market.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Lead the creation of customer personas and use cases to guide targeted marketing strategies.
  • Craft and maintain product-related content, including website copy, videos, sales collateral, email campaigns, and more.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pain points, and competitor positioning.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop campaigns that drive awareness, acquisition, and retention.
  • Track and analyze the performance of product marketing initiatives, using data to optimize strategies.
  • Lead strategies to attract, engage, and retain users by developing targeted campaigns and optimizing touchpoints to ensure a seamless, value-driven experience at every stage.
  • Develop and execute personalized campaigns tailored to specific personas to drive engagement and conversions.


After 1 week

  • You will be onboarded with the Marketing & Product teams and get a sense of how you fit within the company
  • You will be introduced to your team in a group and in 1 on 1s 
  • You will be getting familiar with Leadpages’ products and processes
  • You will become familiar with our Marketing, RevOps, and Product development processes


After 1 month

  • You will know all members of the Product, Marketing and RevOps teams and understand who to ask for what
  • You will be introduced to our product roadmap and understand where you can make the greatest impact 
  • You will find a rhythm with your team and start to define plans for meeting the needs of your focus area
  • You will be contributing to and leading multiple projects including GTMs 
  • You will be able to query data and create reports to measure user adoption and other marketing efforts
  • You will have a basic understanding of an “average customer’s” lifecycle 


After 6 months

  • You will feel confident in your role and will be contributing on many fronts
  • You have built a strong rapport with your team and are helping them learn and grow in their roles
  • You will have released numerous projects and campaigns and have a hunger for more
  • You will have offered valuable insights into our product marketing and lifecycle efforts are actively contributing to ongoing improvements
  • You are actively communicating with senior leadership and cross-departmentally disseminating information appropriately
  • You will have established KPIs and deployed campaigns and tactics to improve them

  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.
  • Strong understanding of small business owners or entrepreneurs or marketing teams as a target audience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
  • Proven experience developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the impact of product marketing efforts.
  • Familiarity with Leadpages or similar marketing tools is a plus.
