Position: Construction Site Coordinator II
Location: Morristown, NJ (Possibility role could be contract-to-hire)
Duration: 2 years contract
Description:
-Candidates will need to be local to either northern or central NJ. Must be willing to travel anywhere within territory.
-Overnight travel may be required.
-Seeking candidates with heavy field construction management experience but also must have strong computer skills. May need to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations on various construction projects.
-Candidates with utility industry experience is preferred.
The individual in this position has responsibility to coordinate and supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for Transmission and Distribution substation and line projects.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related technical field required.
• In lieu of a degree, 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction required.
• Experience in electrical substation and / or line construction preferred.
• Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in the resolution of compliance issues.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability in using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines.
• Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter, customer focused, and results oriented.
• OSHA 10 Certified
