About the Role

As a Construction Superintendent, you will take full ownership of the on-site management of construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Direct all aspects of construction site operations, including scheduling, safety compliance, and coordination of subcontractors.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and problem-solving to achieve project goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets design specifications, building codes, and the client’s expectations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, approve expenditures, and minimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular project updates and resolving issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe job site by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role as a Construction Superintendent.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of building systems, blueprints, and construction practices for general building projects.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in addressing challenges and implementing effective solutions on-site.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technology: Proficiency in project management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Procore).
  • Certifications (preferred): OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and LEED accreditation.
