The Information Processing Clerk is responsible for the processing of trip envelopes, batching faxes, proof of delivery retrieval, and dispersal of all pertinent documents to internal staff. A primary responsibility of this position is to communicate with Drivers and their Fleet Manager regarding missing paperwork on a regular basis. Other duties include scanning of trip envelopes and loose documents.


Process Trip Envelopes:

  • Remove, organize and distribute to appropriate departments trip envelope documents and correspondence.
  • Enter required documents into uploader.
  • Communicating action taken and documenting notes in the Ready to Bill (RTB) and TMW systems.
  • Reviewing documents submitted and following up with driver on any missing required documents in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating arrangements with dispatch to retrieve required documents.


Information Retrieval Services:

  • Retrieve and communicate information requested by internal personnel and external carriers.
  • Monitoring email of paperwork requests.


Requirements:

  • Highschool Diploma
  • Looking for someone detail oriented, adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous transportation industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Previous administrative responsibilities.
  • Excellent Computer Skills.
