Your Impact

A Geomatics Project Manager is responsible for supervising a team of technicians to complete large-scale survey projects following the minimum standards of practice and client requirements. This position is often the key point of contact with clients and also includes the oversight and reporting of budgets and utilization of resources. Project Managers duties include proposal writing, staff development, business development, and the oversight of the day-to-day operations of teams on multiple projects. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

  • Demonstrates the Company’s vision and mission, while successfully performing its core values related to employees, ethics, operational excellence, safety, integrity and corporate social responsibility
  • Execute work plan and monitor staffing requirements for projects
  • Lead staff and provide them with a clear explanation of the scope
  • Supervise technicians and field crews to complete large-scale project
  • Manage scope, budget, and QA/QC for assigned project duties
  • Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
  • Review performance data (financial, budgets, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels
  • Serve as Company representative at meetings and presentations
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • Participate in business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationship
  • Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals
  • This position has direct supervisory responsibilities of employees to include mentoring, coaching, and counseling staff as needed.


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of industry related work experience in a professional or management capacity
  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in related discipline/and or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large scale projects
  • Strong proficiency with or understanding of tools such as AutoCAD, TBC, Micro Station, MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to clearly define assignments/deliverables to team members
  • Ability to oversee, mentor and motivate a project team
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and problem solve on the fly
  • Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with others
  • Professional License required

Minimum USD $70,000.00/per year
