The Job:

The position is responsible for developing, training and managing a high-performance team focused on utilizing our system’s data to provide integrated support to clients and team members in sales, account management and operations. This person will be a player-coach, capable of both managing complex projects involving data analysis, enterprise software systems, and large distributed client and vendor networks and leading a dynamic team responsible for accurate data collection and maintenance, efficient and timely operational analyses, and insightful performance reporting. Lastly, the Manager/Director of Business and Network Intelligence will be the critical link between our technology, operations and sales teams, insuring the knowledge and expertise housed in each of these functions is shared with key stakeholders and thoughtfully incorporated into any critical technology or operational process changes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and consistently execute on efficient processes for collecting and maintaining the accuracy of client and vendor data, including where possible incorporating automation and machine learning;
  • Lead the client onboarding and performance analysis / reporting processes, including the management of a team of sales operations / client relations associates, and the education and training of clients in the use of our proprietary and third-party appraisal management systems;
  • Develop and execute on efficient processes for identifying, contacting, regularly validating the qualifications of, and measuring the performance of, and supporting informed decisions on the allocation of business to independent appraisers and other property service providers;
  • Coordinate with resources in technology, operations and finance to lead the development and maintenance of data analysis and visualization tools, including but not limited to operational dashboards and status queues;
  • Support the integration and continuous improvement of multiple proprietary and third-party work-flow management systems and office productivity software solutions


Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, organized and process-driven, with a strong understanding of both data analytics and service-driven, customer-focused operations. The position will need the communication and project management skills required to lead a small team of direct reports, while collaborating with and marshalling the support of peers and executive leadership across the organization. The position will be required to manage the translation of detailed client service requirements into system functionality and operational processes that allow for the efficient and scalable delivery of services and easily accessible analyses of sales, operations and compliance.

Accordingly, the position needs to have the ability to quickly assimilate technical information, display patience under pressure, and exhibit insight and problem-solving skills for all client and team member requests and situations. As the service and sales issues facing the company vary widely and can be complex or urgent, a successful position will also have attention to detail, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and make decisions independently, and possess effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.


Qualified applicants should possess:

  • Associates or Bachelors required, with a strong preference for those with education in operations, information management, data science or computer science;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in project management, operational planning and data analysis, financial planning & analysis, sales operations or similar functions;
  • Team leadership, training and management experience required;
  • Experience with or knowledge of the mortgage, real estate, residential services or other consumer banking industries strongly preferred, but not required;
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication (written and verbal) skills;
  • Experience with data analysis, database management or data visualization software solutions, including drafting queries, synthesizing large data sets using Excel and low code programming required;
  • Significant proficiency with or mastery of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite;
  • Experience with customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, and/or mortgage workflow software programs strongly preferred, but not required;
  • Ability to both work independently and collaborate with multiple departments as needed;
  • Problem solving skills and a service-orientation.
