Traveling Quality Control Manager – Federal & Healthcare Projects (Traveling Role)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Manager for a growing company specializing in federal and healthcare projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet or exceed quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. You will manage and lead quality control processes on-site while traveling to various project locations across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality control operations for federal and healthcare projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality assessments at project sites.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, processes, and deliverables.
  • Train, mentor, and guide team members to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • CQM-C certification
  • Proven experience in quality control management, particularly in federal and healthcare projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various project sites.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000
  • Performance-based bonus opportunity (5-15%)
  • Health Insurance - Low premiums + deductibles
