M&J Engineering is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our construction management team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest quality standards, through the development and implementation of quality control measures.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Development and implementation of quality control measures to ensure compliance with contract documents and quality standards
  • Inspection of construction sites to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Collaboration with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Preparation and submission of quality control reports, including documentation of findings, observations, and recommendations
  • Continual monitoring and assessment of quality control processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
\

Requirements:

\
  • Four (4) years of field inspection experience working on applicable civil construction projects
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience providing oversight and guidance to junior inspectors
  • Must be able to read and understand complex construction plans and specifications
  • Must be able to write detailed daily inspection reports and perform complex quantity and engineering computations
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
