Physical Therapy Aide (Part-time)


Lakeside Physical Therapy is a physical therapy clinic that prides itself on a balanced approach between hands-on manual therapy, appropriately prescribed exercises, and the use of modalities to return patients to an active lifestyle. Our patient population includes orthopedic post-surgical cases, work and motor vehicle accidents, and patients dealing with the degenerative effects of aging. The ideal applicant should be someone seeking experience to get into physical therapy, nursing schools, or other related health fields.


What we’re looking for…


The applicant should have a warm and friendly disposition. They need to be self-motivated and able to multi-task well. Professional and courteous behavior is expected with both patients and other staff members. Aides should have some level of proficiency with a computer including use of Word and Excel, and web-based applications. We need someone with a flexible schedule within our office hours, which are Monday through Friday 8am to 7pm. We are especially in need of afternoons from 2-7pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.


Job Duties (Combination of front/back office tasks)

Assisting patients with therapeutic exercises

Applying of modalities (hot/cold packs, cold laser, ultrasound, electrical stimulation)

Laundry and stocking of towels/linens

Welcoming patients

Answering phones

Scheduling appointments for new and existing patients

Collecting and processing patient payments

Calling insurances for benefit information

Stocking/filing forms

Other office related duties
