Compensation: up to $130,000 based on experience

Position Overview: The Procurement Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing procurement activities related to the acquisition of supplies and services in accordance with government regulations and company policies and procedures. This position will resolve complex contractual and procurement related issues, and frequently interact with customers, representatives, and suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Create an environment of operational excellence with the expectation of a seamless execution of the delivery of materials for the organization.

•Provide expertise in identifying potential procurement problems and/or conflicts by evaluating impact and resolving issues.

•Evaluate spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries required.

•Create and/or review current processes wherever necessary to ensure accountability and responsibility is clearly outlined and agreed to by executive management.t

•Establish and maintain effective business relationships, review, and oversee the bid process/development, lead complex and critical procurement negotiations, provide oversight of complex cost analysis, serve as leadership interface with suppliers/subcontractors, oversee the analysis and evaluation of proposals, and ensure the final settlement and closeout of purchase orders.

•Develop and build a system that enables a simplified process from purchase order to supplier payment.

•Prepare and distribute information as required to project management and leadership regarding purchase order status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, claims, termination, and closeout of orders.

•Deliver metrics and KPI’s essential to drive continuous improvement in procurement that can be communicated and tracked against business needs.

•Establish time-based milestones and targets for all team members that can be monitored and measured.

•Participates with management in continuous improvement and streamlining activities to ensure compliance with government and company policies and procedures.

•Analyze and identify ways to improve efficiencies for overall supply chain, including inventory management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field.

•10+ years of experience in Procurement Management; Manufacturing/Oil and Gas experience.

•Excellent technical and functional knowledge of purchasing concepts, practices, procedures, and regulations.

•Exceptional communication skills: ability to professionally communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and vendors in written and verbal interactions including presentations.

•Superior organization skills, work ethic, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to consolidate and scrutinize data, draw conclusions, and communicate recommended.

•Advanced MS Office skills in Word, Excel and Outlook, Power Point and Teams.
