Position Overview: As the Managing Director for Equity Real Estate Investments, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the new equity platform. This senior leadership position requires a visionary and experienced professional who has a comprehensive understanding of all major asset types within the real estate sector. You will be based in the vibrant city of Miami, Florida, and will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction, acquisition strategies, and overall performance of the platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the equity platform, ensuring alignment with the firm's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage the investment team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities across various asset types, including residential, commercial, industrial, and retail properties.
  • Oversee the due diligence process, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and market research, to ensure sound investment decisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders to drive growth and secure funding.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the investment portfolio, implementing strategies to maximize returns and mitigate risks.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform investment strategies and maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate investment, with a proven track record of success in equity investments.
  • Extensive experience across all major asset types, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and investment strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
