Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Lead to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they inquire about surgery to their post-operative care. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education, scheduling, and calming anxieties.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Communication:
- Answer phones and greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments, confirm details, and provide pre-surgical instructions.
- Address patient concerns and answer questions related to procedures and post-surgical care.
- Facilitate clear communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients about their surgical journey, including pre-operative preparation, recovery expectations, and potential risks/benefits.
- Ensure patients understand all necessary paperwork and obtain informed consent for procedures.
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Leverage your sales experience (luxury goods preferred) to present surgical procedures in a professional and confident manner, highlighting benefits and value.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for patients throughout their interactions with the office.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage patient records and files both electronic and hardcopy.
- Process insurance information, billing inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required Bachelor’s preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Experience in a luxury sales environment is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and medical practice software (a plus).
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Passion for patient care and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
