ROLE OVERVIEW: As a Project Executive at Bowa Construction, you’ll be the driving force behind our projects, providing leadership, vision, and strategy to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and with the highest quality standards. You’ll play a crucial role in managing relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, overseeing project teams, and addressing complex challenges with creative problem-solving. Your experience will guide your team, shape our company culture, and leave a lasting impact on every project we deliver.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relationship & Business Development: Cultivate strong relationships with current and potential clients, playing a key role in securing new business and leading contract negotiations.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery of projects by overseeing the full project lifecycle—working closely with senior PMs, PMs, superintendents, and engineers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor project managers and senior project managers, developing a collaborative, high-performance team culture that aligns with our company’s core values.
  • Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Navigate project challenges, balancing budget, timeline, quality, and safety. Proactively identify risks, mitigate issues, and implement solutions that drive project success.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, invoicing, and cash flow management. Work with leadership to ensure the financial health of each project and its alignment with company goals.
  • Innovation Integration: Help the company stay at the cutting edge by integrating new tools, technologies, and construction methods that improve processes and outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster clear, open communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all project needs are met and issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.
  • Company Culture & Collaboration: Champion our culture on every job site, ensuring that team members are aligned with the company’s vision, values, and processes.


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: 10+ years in construction management with a proven track record of managing projects across a variety of market sectors (commercial, residential, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and grow a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and support staff.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, from site logistics to budget management, risk mitigation, and problem-solving on complex projects.
  • Business Acumen: Experience in managing financials, client relationships, and securing new business. A background in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and understanding company-wide financial goals.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills—able to manage stakeholders at all levels, from team members to clients and senior leadership.
  • Innovative Mindset: Passion for finding new, innovative ways to solve problems, optimize project delivery, and improve the construction process.
  • Collaboration: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and resolving conflicts when they arise.
