Plant Manager

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a Plant Manager for a manufacturer in North Fort Worth, Texas. As the Plant Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day strategic operations, working with internal departments and staff to develop goals, timelines, price strategies, and executing quality manufacturing of new and redesigned products. You will also be responsible for recruiting and managing employees, increasing efficiency in the plant, and the development and maintenance of budgets. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering, have at least 5 years of Production Management and/or Plant Management experience, have P&L experience, must be knowledgeable with Kaizen and Lean tools for process improvements, and be eager to continue growing in their career. Requirements for the Plant Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering or other technical field
- 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing
- 5 years’ of Production Management/Plant Management experience
- Raw materials to finished goods manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience with its practical application
- Expertise in P&L management, creating budgets, and controlling costs
- Ability to implement and recommend process improvements for manufacturing procedures, processes, and methods
- Strong communication and leadership skills managing direct and indirect reports
- Ability to travel up to 5% nationwide as needed
Compensation for the Plant Manager
- Direct Hire
- Salary: $140-165k base + 20% bonus
- Monday-Friday 7a-5p (willing to work OT as needed)
