Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 months

Summary:

Work in an agile environment, coordinating with people across products and across disciplines, balancing business objectives, end-user goals, and technical requirements to create world-class experiences. Ability to grasp big-picture concepts and fundamental requirements, dive into the details to create user interfaces for interactive products through wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, and prototype solutions. Validate designs in an iterative fashion, coordinating with the team to organize usability tests to ensure the design works for our users. Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to iterate and refine according to user feedback, while holding a high bar for success and users basic expectations.


Visual design skills and/or user research will come in handy to ensure designs are well received by end-users. Soft skills required to work with development teams, advocate for the needs of the user, build consensus, and clearly document the desired solution.


Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product direction, visuals, and experience.

• Create user-centered designs as directed by Product Owner.

• Develop user-centric design for mobile and web platforms, focusing on responsive design and seamless user experiences.

• Design the UI architecture, interface and interaction, flow of services and experiences.

• Create prototypes and wireframes for complex web and mobile applications and workflows

• Work closely with the development team to integrate new technologies and frameworks that enhance the product’s functionality and user experience

• Fluent in best practices in web development, testing and maintainability.


Skills

• Proven experience as user experience designer or interaction designer for web applications and mobile applications, preferably for connected products (Internet of Things or IoT solutions)

• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js.

• Experience in evaluating and incorporating comprehensive tools and web development libraries, such as Kendo UI, to streamline development (preferred, not required).

• Experience with wireframe and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe, Axure, Framer, or similar

• An online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (personas, journey maps, wireframes, graphics, and prototypes)

• High quality organizational and leadership skills

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities


Experience

• Bachelor or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent degree

• 5+ years experience as a UI/UX Developer
