SUMMARY STATEMENT

This position is accountable for taking customer orders and placing orders with the appropriate facility. It includes working with customers, sales, logistics and manufacturing facilities.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process orders from customers and maintain communications with order acknowledgements and other information they may need on the status of order for good customer relations.
  2. Place orders with the appropriate vendor and maintain communication on the status so that customers can be kept up to date on their order.
  3. Coordinate logistics and transportation for the timely delivery of customer orders.
  4. Coordinate other vendors who may be involved in completing the order such as independent machine shops so on time delivery is achieved.
  5. Responsible for pricing accuracy to the customer as well as the vendor so that company profit goals are achieved.


JOB REQUIREMENTS


5+ Years of Customer Service in a fast paced machinery/equipment office environment. Foundry industry experience will be best suited.


  1. SAP experience is required.
  2. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel
  3. PowerBi skills are a plus.
  4. Strong analytical skills a must.
  5. Strong communication and time management required.
  6. Ability to build a strong rapport with customers.
  7. Organization and efficiency working with others a must.
  8. Must be willing to take the initiative.
  9. Bilingual in the Spanish language to facilitate communication with our Mexican vendors. Beneficial, but not a requirement.
