Overview

Alliant is seeking a Client Success Associate to join a team of a respected data and analytics provider targeting top B2C marketing organizations. This position is responsible for supporting sales and business development efforts to ensure timely services delivery, increased revenue, and client satisfaction. The Client Success Associate coordinates project planning and delivery, internal and external communications, and related reporting tasks. The successful candidate will be an experienced, sales assistant, list manager or brokers’ assistant with demonstrated skills in customer service, project management, tactical execution of data delivery and marketing operations projects. This position reports to the Senior Director of Client Success.


Principle Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communications with clients and internal teams to provide excellent customer support, relationship management, product delivery, and answer inquiries in relation to products and services
  • Support sales teams with fact-gathering, pricing and technical input for use in proposals, project schedules, proof of concept presentations and other critical communications
  • Support sales and business development teams, including but not limited to: creating internal work requests, external proposals/statements of work, scheduling data projects, trafficking/logging inbound customer data, expediting delivery of contracts and billing instructions
  • Responsible for ensuring that product delivery and quality meet statement of work order requirements
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our clients, driving value by coordinating client needs to ensure timely resolution and escalate matters as needed to management; proactively communicate progress and results back to customers on a timely basis
  • Ensure daily updates of CRM information and document sales activity, transactions, account, and client information as required
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships and levels of collaboration across all business units to ensure consistent communication and alignment
  • Keep current with marketing technology and data industries as well as all Alliant products and solutions


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business field with 1+ years of working within a business-to-business (B2B) sales organization, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a demonstrated passion for sales and customer service
  • Strong understanding of direct mail and digital marketing operations, and a working knowledge of data and analytic practices
  • Hands-on experience as a vendor or end-user within a direct marketing, digital marketing and/or database development environment
  • Previous experience supporting sales teams for data, analytics, software solutions or similar technical products
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and expand client relationships for positive outcomes; ability to think tactically and strategically and anticipate difficult client situations and manage conflict successfully
  • Outstanding business writing and presentation skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using a CRM database and similar business reporting software applications
  • Ability to anticipate and manage difficult customer situations
  • Working knowledge of direct marketing analytics and reading model gains charts a plus
  • Must be flexible, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job


The base salary for this role is between $50,000 and $55,000 plus a corporate bonus. This role is based full-time in our Brewster, NY headquarter office.
