What you should know: Mulberry is partnering with an innovative manufacturing company who has been in business for several decades. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager reporting to the COO who has effectively worked as an HR Department of One with focus on carrying forward their tradition of a positive, engaged and inclusive work environment. You will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on key HR initiatives and projects around performance management, compensation, benefits and establishing HR best practices. They are eager and motivated to hire for this critical role on their collaborative management team to best support their 100 and growing employees.
A day in the life:
- Oversee all HR programs including policy, compliance, benefits including 401k, compensation, training, employee relations and engagement developing HR resources and connections as needed
- Responsible for all aspects of recruiting, onboarding, and retention to attract high quality candidates
- Develops and maintains employee handbook with policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and regulations
- Develop training materials and performance management programs including tools, coaching and support of hiring managers
- Design employee engagement, retention, recognition programs
- Investigate any employee relations concerns making recommendation on best course of action for corrective action or discipline
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
- 5+ years of HR Management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- HR certification required, bachelor’s degree in human resources or business management preferred
- Broad knowledge of HR best practices able to apply them strategically and with confidence
- Interest in working hands-on with employees and company leaders creating a culture of collaboration and inclusion
- Display qualities of humbleness, a growth mindset, interest in learning and kindness
- Proficient in MS Office, HR systems, tools and resources
Compensation and Benefits: $120-125K in annual compensation. Benefits include high quality, 100% paid for the employee medical plans, low cost dental and vision plans, disability, PTO, and 401k with employer match
