We are recruiting an Estimating Coordinator to join the Scentisphere team, sitting onsite in Carmel, NY. The primary responsibilities of the Estimating Coordinator is to complete request for quotations (RFQs) for scent marketing projects, assisting the Director of Estimating in day-to-day responsibilities, and supporting Sales/Production/Project Management in providing exceptional service and delivering quality, timely projects to clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate closely with Director of Estimating to complete RFQs in a timely fashion with service and cost-savings approach on all requests.
  • Evaluate methods available for producing a job, procure and quantify costs, determine sell price and provide quotations meeting key KPIs.
  • Analyze specifications from Sales Team and offer suggestions for cost savings via value engineering and alternative material specifications.
  • Support Sales Team with production timelines.
  • Work with vendors to qualify product specifications, explore costs savings opportunities and quality standards.
  • Analyze quotations from vendors to confirm accuracy.
  • Revise estimates as needed due to specification changes from clients.
  • Explore alternative substrates and materials for cost savings, innovation, business continuity.
  • Present quotations to Sales Team in organized, detailed and presentable format.
  • Support in maintaining Estimating Standard Procedures.
  • Utilize print production experience to offer expertise and guidance to Sales Team and with clients.
  • Support in management of Job Cost Analysis Meeting.
  • Attend press checks at vendors as required.
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluation of new vendors.
  • Provide advice and direction on scent marketing innovations.
  • Back up and support Purchasing Team.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of printing and manufacturing.
  • Preferred experience with flexographic and offset printing.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel Required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven organizational prowess and responsiveness.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with many departments to service clients.
  • Open-mindedness to learn new technologies, processes, and innovations.
