The ideal candidate will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing commercial ground-up construction projects.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
  • Help prepare project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor project progress, track project milestones, and update schedules as necessary.
  • Assist in the management of project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
  • Help identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Support the Project Manager in maintaining client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required.
