The Digital Products Manager is in charge of formulating and implementing strategies for online assets, such as software and applications, and managing their development and upkeep. This role involves overseeing the creation and enhancement of essential tools that back the company's strategic goals. The person is responsible for both current and upcoming products, making sure they are always optimized and maintained, and spearheading the development of new offerings. Managing the development plans for both current and new online solutions, the Digital Products Manager needs to possess a strategic perspective, practical knowledge of technology systems, and the ability to work well with others to spearhead new business digital projects while also enhancing and maintaining current digital platforms. A deep understanding of the digital landscape is crucial, along with the skill to efficiently use existing systems to achieve business objectives. To achieve this, the individual serves as a key intermediary and central point of contact among various stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive strategy that prioritizes the most important projects while accommodating a broad spectrum of business needs and priorities.


Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will be a technology-first quick learner with the capacity to rapidly integrate new technologies into existing strategy, and the knowledge to fully leverage a complex Martech stack
  • Their working knowledge of enterprise architecture, data infrastructure, and the technology landscape will enable them to design the most effective and elegant approaches to planning and executing across many competing initiatives, and will allow them to provide strong and effective leadership to a team that is responsible for driving forward multiple technology-based initiatives
  • This individual must be able to develop team members, manage contractors, navigate the demands of both internal and external stakeholders, and align resources to successfully deliver digital products while maintaining focus on the most important work to be done
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in the required field
  • 10+ years of progressive digital product strategy and/or equivalent experience
  • Strategic mindset and strong results orientation
  • Proven ability to lead a team with a broad set of customer needs
  • Strong conceptual design skills that translate user and business needs into successful digital experiences
  • Detailed knowledge of digital analytic platforms and research tools to drive decision making
  • Demonstrated experience in working successfully in large, complex, aggressive organizations, balancing multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously
  • Proven experience in cultivating organizational change and creating buy-in for new initiatives through market mastery and data-driven approach
  • Multi-channel digital strategy with knowledge of current and emerging digital platforms (mobile, tablet, connected CE devices, marketing automation)
  • Strong written and verbal communication capability; communication and presentation skills; poised, confident and articulate
  • User-service oriented with a high level of empathy and detail
  • Responsible budget management and financial acumen
  • Must be an effective communicator and possess the ability to work with and lead a group in an agile team environment
  • The Manager must possess strong influence skills, communications savvy, poise, and the ability to gain alignment for a unified digital vision
  • must be able to work well in a matrixed organization with multiple internal customers with varying degrees of knowledge/expertise
