Role Description

We are seeking a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Tustin, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role. As a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of broadcast video equipment and systems. You will work closely with our client to ensure the reliable operation of their broadcast infrastructure, including video routers, switchers, servers, encoders, decoders, and other related equipment. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the seamless delivery of high-quality video content.


Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in broadcast video engineering
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing broadcast video equipment and systems
  • Familiarity with video routers, switchers, servers, encoders, decoders, and related equipment
  • Understanding of broadcast signal flow and standards
  • Knowledge of audio and video codecs
  • Experience with broadcast automation systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic broadcast environment
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, broadcast engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Industry certifications (e.g., SBE, SMPTE) are a plus
