Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation:
- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to develop precise cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather essential data for comprehensive evaluations.
- Stay abreast of market trends, material costs, and industry benchmarks to enhance estimating accuracy.
Project Management Support:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Provide support to project managers in resource allocation and optimization of project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
Client Interaction:
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the project team, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project cost estimates.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure project specifications meet expectations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in estimating large dollar projects, preferably within the industrial construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
