Office Support/ Driver

1800Flowers.com is seeking an office support/ driver to work out of our Jericho, NY headquarters.

Shift Details:

Hours 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Monday – Friday but some weekend work may be needed during our peak holidays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Company Van Driver

• Safely Transport Company Staff to and from specified locations in timely manner
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
• Ensure that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance
• Providing accurate time records of the vehicle's coming and goings
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management

Mailroom:

• Sort mail
• Get packages ready for UPS and FedEx
• Deliver packages to appropriate departments
• Bring items down to basement

Office Support:

• Cover reception/switchboard during breaks and PTO
• Cleaning/wiping down high touch areas such as door knobs, handrails or glass etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma is preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes
• Ability to utilize maps, GPS systems and car manuals
• Effective communication skills
• Punctual and reliable

The expected hourly range for this position is $15.00/hour - $18.00/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
