Overview: The IT Support Technician will provide both hands-on and remote technical support for end-user desktop devices to all employees. This role involves addressing a variety of technical issues, including hardware, software, applications, and tools support. Responsibilities include break/fix support for hardware, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, copiers, plotters, network connectivity, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, wireless and remote access VPN, and MS Office Suite support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve issues related to Outlook, Teams, Office 365 environment, Windows 10 and 11.
  • Perform diagnostics and corrective actions for hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Offer deskside and phone support to end-users.
  • Identify and resolve network issues/errors or escalate as appropriate.
  • Maintain professional relationships with team members and management.
  • Create and maintain documentation to support and enforce standards, policies, and processes.
  • Provide extensive technical support, ideally with experience in an engineering firm familiar with CAD, MicroStation, Bentley, 3D engineering modeling, and SolidWorks.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent end-user (customer) support and service skills with a commitment to follow-through and resolution.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, healthy relationship with all team members and management.
  • Awareness of support issues and needs on a company-wide and business basis.
  • Skilled in creating and maintaining documentation to support, enforce standards, policies, and processes.


Additional Information:

  • This is not a work-from-home position, although there is a possibility of occasional remote work.
  • Supporting 1,400 users
