As we expand, we are looking to add a Business Development Associate to our team who will play a key role in driving growth and building relationships with new and existing clients.

Job Overview:

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and supporting the growth of our LED lighting and EV charging installation services. This role is a perfect fit for an energetic and driven individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is motivated by performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify potential clients through research, cold calling, Door to Door (b2b), email outreach, and networking.
  • Sales Support: Assist in presenting our services and solutions to prospects, emphasizing the benefits of LED lighting and EV charging installations powered by incentives and rebates.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, providing timely follow-up and customer service to ensure their needs are met.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, rebate and incentive programs, and competitor offerings to help drive effective sales strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in preparing proposals and cost estimates based on client needs, ensuring that all rebate and incentive opportunities are maximized.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track your own performance through key metrics (calls made, meetings set, contracts closed) and report progress to management.
  • Incentive Program Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of available local, state, and federal incentives and rebates related to LED lighting and EV charging stations, ensuring prospects understand how these can reduce costs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role. Experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or EV infrastructure is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships and establish trust with clients
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business tools
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with energy-saving technologies, LED lighting systems, and electric vehicle infrastructure is an advantage, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Compensation: Hourly pay with a performance-based bonus structure. Bonuses will be awarded based on meeting specific sales targets, customer acquisition, and project success.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour


Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
