SEO Specialist Responsibilities

  • Regularly update and maintain online directories such as Google Business Profiles, Bing Places, and Apple Maps to ensure accuracy and optimization.
  • Collaborate with team members to produce Local SEO-focused content that enhances our online presence and visibility.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities; present findings and recommend strategies for growth.
  • Work closely with General Managers and partners to manage and improve our online reputation across various platforms.


SEO Specialist Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in internet navigation and the use of email.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and their application to content marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web development.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable, with a keen ability to switch strategies swiftly and efficiently.
  • Experienced with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and other website tracking platforms.


Preferred Skills

  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar software.
  • Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT.
  • Experience with Email Service Providers like HubSpot or Constant Contact.
  • Understanding of Google PPC and Programmatic Advertising.
  • Industry-specific knowledge, particularly in automotive, with experience using tools like Edmunds, Cars.com, Outsell, and Clarivoy.
