This position is based in Chandler, AZ. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for the design base build and tool installation in a semiconductor manufacturing plant..



Sr. Project Manager who will provide engineering project management for a portfolio of projects and play a pivotal role in defining and shaping the future of advanced technology, semiconductors, and other state-of-the-art facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies. You will work closely with our clients, engineering teams, and other professionals to identify, understand, and manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget of various projects. This position is an onsite role that will require you to work onsite each day and be located in the N. Phoenix, AZ area. Remote or hybrid work arrangements for this role are not available. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, but relocation assistance can be provided for well-qualified candidates.


  • Identify, understand, and manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget of various design projects.
  • Establish project scope of work in coordination with Discipline Leads and Department Managers, including planning of work, design concepts/design direction, determining discipline type and amount of tasks to be performed, and communicating with the
  • Department Manager over staff capabilities to fit specific project needs.
  • Coordinates meetings and establishes all design document flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies, and others involved.
  • Prepares project budget and work schedule to serve as a means of tracking progress. Adjusts to meet budget and schedule objectives.
  • Prepares the project execution plan, establishes control procedures, monitors progress, and takes corrective action as may be required.
  • Follows established change management procedures to document and receive authorization for project change orders in a timely manner.
  • Participates in client contact and business development activities.
  • Perform field verifications / site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. May troubleshoot design problems in the field during construction.

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical field, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience is needed. Previous project management experience in a teaming environment is a plus.
  • Project Management certification (PMP) is highly desired.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry/cleanroom environments is required. Experience with large industrial, advanced technology, and/or high-tech projects is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read and speak English and Mandarin is highly desired.
  • Proficiency with MS Project or other Project Management software required.
  • Ability to resolve issues that involve gaining agreement of cross-functional groups and working through issues by gaining consensus and facilitating a collaborative environment.
  • When required, perform field verifications and site walks to identify, verify, resolve, and incorporate solutions into design packages. Ability to troubleshoot design problems in the field.
