This individual will oversee engineering project management for a diverse range of projects from initial concept to startup. The projects will include various high-tech and industrial design initiatives, each presenting distinct engineering challenges and innovative solutions due to their differing sizes, scopes, and complexities. Collaborating with our experienced project engineering teams, this individual will identify, comprehend, and manage the scope of work, schedule, and budget for multiple design packages. This role will also involve coordination with various disciplines within the organization (architectural, electrical, mechanical, process/chemical, structural, etc.) and will play a crucial role in resolving complex design challenges. This position is hybrid, requiring occasional onsite work.

- Work closely with lead engineers, design teams, and senior project managers to manage project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Create and maintain technical frameworks to monitor project progress, deliverables, mitigate technical risks, and proactively tackle engineering challenges.
- Promote process enhancements and engineer technical solutions to project-related issues while achieving set objectives.
- Organize meetings and manage document control with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, including responding to RFIs.
- Handle increasingly complex assignments, adhering to defined scope, schedule, and cost guidelines with moderate supervision.
- Review and approve client billings and assist with account collections as needed.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards, proactively addressing any technical obstacles.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Design Lead, Engineering Project Manager, or in a similar capacity is highly preferred.
- Ability to excel in collaborative, cross-office environments, including interactions with international teams.
- An Associate degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, process, or structural). A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles within the AEC industry, showcasing proficiency in conveying technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Certification as a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in computer applications and basic drafting software, with a strong technical aptitude for utilizing engineering software tools.
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, contingent on location, education, experience, and relevant certifications.
- Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401K retirement savings plan (with company matching), opportunities for professional development and training, generous PTO, and paid holidays.
We anticipate your contribution to our organization.
