Escrow Officer

We are searching for an experienced Escrow Agent to join an awesome team in Carlsbad. This person MUST bring along their own book of business with at least $20,000 in revenue.

An escrow officer, also known as an escrow agent, is a neutral third party who oversees the real estate transaction process between buyers, sellers, and real estate agents.

Their responsibilities include:

• Managing funds: Depositing earnest money into an escrow account, ensuring that all required funds are received, and disbursing funds when appropriate
• Preparing documents: Ordering title and property documents, preparing mortgage documents, and writing escrow instructions
• Ensuring compliance: Confirming that all parties honor the terms of the purchase contract, and following lender and legal requirements
• Communicating: Interacting with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, attorneys, mortgage brokers, and title companies
• Coordinating: Working with title companies and lenders to ensure a smooth transaction
• Monitoring: Monitoring the status of the escrow process
