Our client, a well-known entertainment company, is looking for a Product Manager to join their team for a hybrid 12 month contract in Glendale/Anaheim, CA. This position requires working onsite 2 days a week. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in product management, at least 1+ year of mobile experience, and a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Advocate for Guest needs and value in all work.
- Oversee the parks app's live operations and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with design and technology teams, clearly communicating product objectives and managing the backlog.
- Develop product deliverables (vision statements, project briefs, etc.).
- Utilize data-driven insights for product development and track success metrics (KPIs for engagement, Guest satisfaction, etc.).
- Partner with stakeholders to manage scope and expectations.
- Communicate effectively across the organization through various mediums.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in product management, with at least 1 year in the online/mobile industry.
- Experience managing live operations for mobile apps or related products used 24/7 by customers.
- Strong data analysis and quantitative skills.
- Ability to address technical, user, and business issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate and achieve results through others.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to driving ideas into action.
- Leadership experience across multiple teams and timely delivery with quality.
- Willingness to work in-office two days a week in either Celebration, FL or Southern California (Glendale/Anaheim).
- Ability to travel regularly to the theme parks to inspect app performance and other product needs.
- 1+ year in mobile gaming and/or interactive experiences (AR, MR, physical/digital, gameplay).
- Certifications or graduate studies in project management, data analysis, or related fields.
