We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales and Business Development to lead and drive our sales and business growth strategies. The VP of Sales and Business Development will be responsible for expanding our market presence, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and business development strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion for our RISC-V Core IP and system IP solutions.
- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various vertical markets and applications, including microcontrollers, data center cores, networking, and AI accelerators.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for high-level negotiations and partnership discussions.
- Sales Operations: Oversee the sales team, set clear targets and performance metrics, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Implement effective sales processes and tools to optimize performance.
- Business Development: Drive new business initiatives, including strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing agreements. Identify and address market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and technological advancements to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with product development and go-to-market plans.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, market opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in sales and business development within the semiconductor or technology industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of RISC-V Core IP and system IP solutions, including microcontrollers, data center cores, and system interconnects. Familiarity with vertical markets such as networking, data centers, and AI applications is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and drive results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
