Equipment Technician Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance on high-speed equipment, including but not limited to digital presses or bindery/finishing equipment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues to keep equipment running at peak efficiency.
  • Inventory control, purchasing, and parts tracking.

Requirements: Experience planning and performing maintenance on high-speed digital printing and bindery/finishing equipment (or equivalent technical experience), ability to perform adjustments on mechanical systems and troubleshoot/replace worn components, familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, experience maintaining high voltage equipment (480V) (able to determine the voltage of energized parts and potential hazards), strong analytical skills, technical/mechanical aptitude, flexibility to work on all shifts, and ability to stand for 12+ hours, lift up to 25 lbs., crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions.
