Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation and closing needs of Global Trade and Supply Chain portfolio transactions mainly structures involving receivables and payables financing, Export finance, trade credit insured and working capital facilities
  • Co-ordinate and interact with Legal department, external counsel, team members, Risk Department, Onboarding team, Insurance Brokers, Clients, Bank Agents etc. to ensure proper closing on a timely basis; guarantee client has fulfilled all conditions of approval and contingencies have been cleared prior to closing;
  • Ability to negotiate with underwriters trade credit insurance policies, monitor the utilization and compliance of the terms and conditions of such policies and process payments of insurance premiums
  • Coordinate with clients the information/documentation required to close the transaction and review, validate and prepare transaction legal files
  • Ensure that all processes and Bank policies for Global Trade and Supply Chain finance transactions are adhered to and all procedures are followed in a timely manner
  • Ensure that proper loan documentation including, corporate documents, powers of the signors and guarantors is received and verified in the applicable credit document
  • Continuous support and monitoring of processes with internal and external parties, to build up the loan portfolio to projected goals

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years exposed to the closing of trade and supply chain finance related transactions, Asset Based Lending or Letters of credit / documentary Collections.

Experience in structuring and managing legal documentation, insurance policies and monitor loans and disbursement documents of a Trade related portfolio Loans is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Economics or related field;

Very detail oriented person, self-driven, committed and interested in the line of the business.

Demonstrated skill in accuracy and commitment to the overall achievements of the Team goals.

Bilingual; In addition to English, proficiency in Spanish is a plus
