Title: PeopleSoft Technical Expert:


iLynx is seeking a PeopleSoft developer with working experience in a federal Peoplesoft environment. The focus of the Technical Specialist/Developer will be developing new reports and customizations, updating existing reports and functionality, and providing analysis and troubleshooting. The resource will retrofit objects as needed when applying maintenance packs and upgrades. Integration Broker, application messaging, and other integration functionalities may be used. The Technical Specialist/Developer will aid the PeopleSoft support staff, working directly with the other developers, the system administrators, and the functional teams.

Length: Full-time/Permanent or Contract


Candidates must have:

  1. 10+ years of experience working with PeopleSoft.
  2. 3+ years of federal experience (recent years).
  3. US Citizenship.


Education and Certifications:

  1. Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
  2. PeopleSoft environment certificate is a plus.


Knowledge Skills:

Knowledge and experience with Asset Management, General Ledger, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and the Purchasing suite of modules; or

Knowledge and experience with Payroll, Time and Labor, Benefits, and Pension modules.

Experience using Integration Broker and application messages to integrate PeopleSoft Financials with another application. Working knowledge of Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD), Oracle Access Management (OAM), Oracle WebCenter Capture, Oracle Forms Recognition, WebCenter Imaging, WebCenter Content, Workflow, and Oracle Cloud Manager. Integrating PeopleSoft Financials with the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning application or Oracle EPBCS.


Key Responsibilities:

Manage a multi-functional, matrixed team consisting of application experts, capital and operating budgeting analysts and managers, IT security experts, IT infrastructure experts, and the third-party implementation team. Manage the technical and business process changes resulting from the changes inherent in the new system. Responsible for drafting specifications, work plan definitions, task management, overall deliverables management, and status tracking for the project.

  1. Primary responsibility will be to support the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, as well as its continued development, testing, and integration with related applications.
  2. Aid staff with monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciling activity.
  3. Support the upgrade of the House's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application from the current 9.2 and People Tools 8.61 and/or later versions.
  4. Aid with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House.
