Responsibility

Looking for a Business Development Director (12 to 15 years’ experience) with a proven track record of generating an opportunity pipeline, closing sales and building long term strategic relationships with clients for Data and Analytics services in the US.


The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of information / data management, data engineering, data storage, business intelligence and analytics. Exposure to data management design principles such as master data management, data storage (Enterprise data warehouse, data lakes, data analytics) and moderate understanding of data management - ETL, storage and analytics tools / software such as Talend, Snowflake, Azure / AWS / GCP data services, etc.


Experience in selling one or more of the following information management services, data engineering- pipelines, data storage services (DBA services ) and AI/ML analytics .


The candidate should have experience and knowledge to understand and document client’s requirements, articulate business benefits from data to manufacturing / retail and define value proposition in data analytics and financial engineering to structure a winning proposition to the close the opportunities.


The candidate should be able to Independently run sales campaigns, attend industry conferences, networking skills and manage the entire sales cycle to closure of the deal. Ability to generate a qualified sales pipeline, diligent in follow ups with the clients, collaborate with internal practice teams for proposals, negotiate and closure of sales. They should be able to establish long term client relationship to create lifetime value from new clients.


Exposure in selling to one or more following industry domains – manufacturing (Auto, Industrial, Medical Devices, Retail & Logistics).


Must be a self-starter with high energy, drive and enthusiasm and have experience of leading teams to close deals.
