Position: Electrical Drafter

Location: Sand Springs, OK

Pay: $47,320/year

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an Electrical Designer
  • Experience with electrical design in Hazardous Areas
  • Experience with SOLIDWORKS

Education: Education or certification in Electrical AutoCAD

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm


ProRecruiters is seeking an Electrical Drafter to join a growing and dynamic team


Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the project team to review equipment and system functions.
  • Interface with the project team to resolve technical issues and ensure expectations are met.
  • Work with engineering personnel to develop electrical drawing packages using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Assist automation personnel with field research of existing electrical systems, testing installed systems, and commissioning PLC/HMI-based control systems.
  • Perform project tasks while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Utilize, support, and enhance automation standards and best practices.
  • Maintain revision control for electrical drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Communicate proficiently across all departments.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • Knowledge of NFPA 70, UL 508A
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the use of AutoCAD Electrical 2021
  • Understand commonly used electrical symbols, schematics and components
  • Possession of strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend engineering specifications
  • Proficiently communicate between all departments
  • Prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Utilize critical reasoning skills
