About the Role

Farnsworth Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs or Denver, CO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume multi-project responsibilities for full electrical design, including power distribution, lighting, and telecommunications for the healthcare market.
  • Conduct code research and application, fieldwork to ascertain existing conditions, and preliminary schematics through final designs.
  • Develop calculations, equipment specifications, and layouts, as well as coordinate with other production staff.
  • Prepare accurate electrical system construction drawings and specifications, and review submittals and construction administration.
  • Manage project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality, and mentor engineers, designers, and drafters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in electrical design.
  • PE preferred but not required.
  • Design experience relative to medium/large commercial, healthcare, and institutional facilities.
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously.

Salary Range

$103,000 - $138,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity).
