Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to join our team and represent a top 20 national 3PL company. This role involves working closely with the sales force within a branch office to drive sales and manage customer relationships effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact new customers and leverage your skills to secure sales.
  • Develop systems and processes for effective prospecting and management.
  • Sell and close new shippers to build a robust book of business.
  • Implement strategies through prospecting, proposal development, presentation, and account management.
  • Collaborate with transportation brokers to maximize load volumes from new customers.
  • Uphold company standards and principles focusing on customer satisfaction, company values, and office integrity.


Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in non-asset based 3PL sales
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and/or LTL freight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem resolution abilities
  • Self-motivated, driven, and a team player
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient with computers and technology
  • Willingness to travel as needed for sales activities
