Job Duties:

We are looking for a dynamic professional that is interesting in beginning a career in engineering consulting for the industrial sector. This position requires the application of mechanical engineering techniques, procedures and criteria for a global engineering consulting firm. The entry level Mechanical Engineer works under the direction and control of a licensed professional engineer. Individuals will perform basic engineering tasks such as the review or development of less complex plans, performance of basic engineering calculations, developing or modifying specifications, preparing P&ID’s, drafting evaluation reports, performing computer modeling, and site observation of parts of an engineering project. Primary focus shall be mechanical design tasks for industrial facilities. The level of responsibility will be directly related to demonstrated performance. Some experience with piping systems, HVAC systems, and/or mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, fans, and cooling systems would be preferable. Our client sectors include manufacturing, oil & gas, energy, food and scientific.


Viable candidate will be able to understand and adopt the philosophy and values of our international organization. Individuals must have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with very good organizational habits. AutoCad experience is a plus. Ability to provide excellent customer service, work well in a collaborative environment and demonstrate effective team building skills is a must. While this is an office based position, some travel may be required.


Minimum Requirements:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; six months of mechanical engineering experience preferred.
