As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales success through effective communication, strategic planning, and execution. Your proactive approach, customer-centric focus, and problem-solving abilities will ensure the delivery of exceptional service and value.

Responsibilities

Strategic Communication

  • Effectively communicate ideas, plans, and actions in an organized and concise manner to support customer business activities.

Opportunity Management

  • Identify and classify existing and potential account opportunities, managing your time effectively to achieve sales goals.

Account Penetration

  • Develop and implement account penetration plans, including conducting regular business reviews to maximize sales.

Decision-Maker Engagement

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers and influencers to initiate orders and drive buying decisions.

Information Management

  • Maintain organized records and information throughout the sales process.

Continuous Learning

  • Continuously seek new product knowledge and stay informed about the competitive landscape.

Product Integration

  • Integrate all product lines into customer accounts to provide added value, aligning with our Core Sales Philosophy.

Customer Complaint Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints by developing solutions and presenting recommendations.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of industrial sales experience, with a focus on industrial gases and equipment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong negotiating, presenting, and public speaking skills.
  • Geographical Knowledge: Familiarity with the operational area.
  • Travel: Ability to travel extensively (5-100 miles daily) and manage time effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-starter with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer needs and management expectations.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
  • Independence: Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborative nature with adaptability to diverse personalities and backgrounds.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance coverage.
