Foreign Bank seeking Information Security Analyst, primarily focused on Information Security Risk and Data Protection.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reporting, processes, and metrics in the area of security analysis, risk

assessment and project-based work

  • Serve as subject matter expert in the areas of information security and data protection (privacy) in alignment with internal policy and regional, regulatory standards (DFS500, FED (FFIEC), etc.)
  • Act as Security Analyst lead for the coordination and execution of information security assessments for 3rd parties (IS Vendor Risk Management)
  • Project coordination for cybersecurity roadmap initiatives
  • Provide security metrics to the Regional CISO to support management reporting
  • Prepare security presentations for working groups, steering committees, and management reporting
  • Responsible for Security Analysis Management as a Secondary Function, which includes: Review IT applications and infrastructure in the region to ensure adequate levels of security are employed, in line with the risk associated with the application criticality
  • Recommend suitable compensating controls to reduce risk, in line with application criticality
  • Act as Physical Security analyst backup and other miscellaneous responsibilities as required.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Information Security
  • Experience with Info Sec Risk Assessments and Cybersecurity Governance
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in industry standard tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of IS and IT governance and frameworks like NIST, ISO 2700x, FFIEC
