Client Details:


Our client is a nationwide full-service construction management firm that specializes in commercial, residential, and industrial projects throughout New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. They are looking to hire two exceptional Assistant Superintendents to join their established team. There is immense room for growth, a great company culture, and a lucrative compensation package.


The Assistant Superintendent will:


  • Set up site safety and office, including logistics, safety requirements, and an emergency plan.
  • Communicate and meet regularly with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes, and deliveries.
  • Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols to ensure job sites consistently meet or exceed OSHA safety standards.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
  • Communicate effectively with owners, construction managers, other superintendents, and project managers to ensure appropriate information to ensure completeness, design intent, and compliance with local codes and obtain all required clarifications from the design team.


The ideal Assistant Superintendent will have:


  • Minimum of 1 year of Construction experience in commercial interiors, retail, and high-end interiors projects.
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, scheduling, and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to commute to job sites in NYC, NJ and Southern CT


The Assistant Superintendent will receive:
