Position Overview

Evolve Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Commerical Litigation Legal Assistant to support a leading Commerical Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex commercial litigation support, strong technical skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. In this role, you will be responsible for case management, document preparation, and providing litigation support in both federal and state court matters.

Key Responsibilities

As a Legal Assistant – Commercial Litigation, you will:

  • Provide essential administrative and litigation support to Commercial Litigation Practice Group attorneys.
  • Manage case files, ensuring accuracy in document review, scheduling, docketing, and analysis preparation.
  • Maintain organized electronic case files and ensure timely filing in both federal and state courts.
  • Handle electronic filings and submissions with various courts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and colleagues, providing regular case updates and managing deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support attorneys and meet the demands of active litigation cases.


Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least five years of experience as a litigation legal assistant in a law firm, preferably in complex commercial litigation group.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court filing procedures (experience with Relativity/FileSite is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail in both written and oral work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Typing proficiency of at least 70 words per minute.
  • Availability to work 9:00 am – 5:30 pm on-site.
